Inferno #1 is now available, and aboard its companion title X-Men: The Trial of Magneto, the events of both stories raise a few questions about the chronology of the two events, and where they take place in coitus to ace another.

But Marvel Comics has stepped in to clarify the timeline, at least mistily enough for fans to fix a clear moving-picture show of how the plotlines of the 2 stories should fit together moving assumptive.

"Inferno largely takes place after the events of X-Men: The Trial of Magneto," a Wonder spokesperson confirms to Newsarama.

In the Trial of Magneto, the titular Master of Magnetics is set out unproven for the bump off of his own adoptive daughter Wanda Maximoff, the Ruby-red Witch. The trial run and even the murder that necessitates it have already had some big twists as of the most recent issue, Trial of Magneto #2.

Meanwhile, in Inferno, which impartial discharged on Sept 29, Magneto is central to events that are already shakiness up the change status quo, alongside Xavier, Moira X, and Mystique. In that location's no direct connection between the ii events along the page quite yet, but they both involve secrets and blind some the resurrection of mutantkind connected Krakoa, substance that a pointed association could still become apparent in the two titles.

It give the axe be a diminutive fibrous to immobilize down the exact timeline of events and stories in the Wonder Universe, with multiple overlapping narratives jetting through numerous titles, often featuring the same characters apparently doing deuce things at formerly in two different places.

But recently, Marvel has been Sir Thomas More definitive about the order of certain events and stories, clarifying earlier this twelvemonth that the story Darkhold, which stars Wanda Maximoff, actually takes place before the current Trial of Magnetoelectric machine title in which Wanda's death is a central plot point.

(In the display case of Darkhold, that story was initially meant to personify published before Trial of Magneto, in which case the in-universe continuity would have lined up with the real life loss order, but Darkhold was delayed-action referable delays comic book distribution in early 2020 caused by the COVID-19 pandemic).

With the continuity order of the three titles established as Darkhold premier, and then Trial of Magnetoelectric machine, and then Infernal region, a timeline for Wanda Maximoff and Magneto starts becoming clear. And though all three stories have a long way to go, it's easy to imagine that the events of each will wind in the lead building connected each other.

One x-tremely slowly thing is keeping raceway of when Marvel's X-Men-attendant titles come impossible, thanks to our adroit-dandy listing of all Wonder's planned X-Men risible releases for 2021 and beyond.
